Q2 2024 Android Report: Top Tabletop Board Games in the US

As the second quarter of 2024 wraps up, Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of the top five tabletop board game applications on the Android platform in the United States. Here's how these digital recreations of classic games fared.

Chess - Play and Learn from Chess.com maintained a strong presence with revenues peaking at nearly $4M in late May. The app experienced a steady flow of downloads, with a notable jump to over 1K in the first week of June. Weekly active users remained consistently above 32K throughout the quarter.

Backgammon - Lord of the Board, developed by Beach Bum Ltd., showed a surge in revenue in late June, reaching over $2.8M. Downloads hovered around the 100 mark weekly, with active users showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, ending at approximately 1.8K.

Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino, from publisher Aviva Sun, saw revenues fluctuate, with a peak of over $1.7M in mid-April. Downloads remained under 100 each week, and active users were relatively stable, staying around the mid-200s but showing an increase in early June.

Domino Dreams™ by SuperPlay. displayed a notable rise in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching close to $800K. Downloads spiked significantly in late May, surpassing 400, and weekly active users more than doubled from the start of the quarter, with a peak at 967 in mid-June.

Lastly, Ludo STAR: Online Dice Game by Gameberry Labs posted a revenue high of $910K in mid-June. Downloads saw a consistent uptick week-over-week, ending the quarter with over 100 downloads. The active user base remained robust, averaging around 870 throughout the quarter.
